According to a big internal study conducted by Facebook that examined over 1,200 Facebook posts from over 23 brands, the key to keeping your Facebook fans engaged is coming up with sharable content relevant to your brand. Seems like a no-brainer, right? From the study, a few things to keep in mind:

  • Create sharable content. More than just clicking "like," give your customers/readers a reason to click "share."
  • Begin question posts with the words "where," "when," "would" and "should."
  • Avoid starting posts with the word "why." This had the least amount of engagement across the board.
