Microsoft Surface Tablet Wants to Get Down to Business With Your Business

Microsoft unveiled a new ad for its upcoming Surface tablet this week, which shows off its sleek, slim, and super stylish profile. Coming with a 10.6-inch widescreen display, a $499 price tag and plenty of attitude, the Surface could be the gadget busy solopreneurs need to stay connected and get down to business without carrying any extra baggage. iPad and iPad Mini? You might want to watch your backs.

What's the big deal, you ask? Well, there's a built-in kickstand and your choice of colorful click-on keyboard/covers that make the Surface the perfect tablet for sending emails, responding to customer queries, blogging, and keeping up with daily news. But more than aesthetics, the dual cameras allow you to drop what you're doing and hop on a video call with those high-touch clients you can't seem to catch a break from, or chat it up with family and friends from anywhere, anytime. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the processor and software are intuitive so you can pretty much plug-in play straight out of the box.

Gone are the days of lugging around heavy gadgets or being chained to a desk to get work done — you can now run your business with a WiFi connection and a tablet. How cool is that?

What do you think — would you switch out your full-sized laptop for a tough and tiny tablet like the Surface?
